After graduating from Birmingham-Southern College with a degree in Biology/Psychology, Dr. Lisa Stanley attended the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Dentistry, where she earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. She then completed her residency in Pediatric Dentistry at Baylor College of Dentistry, which included training at Children’s Medical Center of Dallas and Texas Scottish Rite Hospital. Dr. Lisa has been providing excellent and compassionate dental care to children in Middle Tennessee for over 20 years.
In 2006, Dr. Lisa became board certified, and a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry (ABPD). She serves as an examiner for the ABPD Oral Clinical Examination, and has been appointed to several examination committees within the Board. Dr. Lisa has earned the distinction of being named a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, and currently serves on the Tennessee Dental Association as a member of the Council on Dental Benefits. Other professional memberships include the Tennessee Association of Pediatric Dentistry and American Dental Association.
Dr. Lisa spends her free time with her husband, three children, two goldendoodles and a cat. She enjoys playing the piano for her church and community theatre, as well as reading and travelling.
