Dr. Jennifer House grew up in northwest Mississippi and attended Delta State University where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Biology. During her college years, Dr. House had the opportunity to shadow her uncle, aunt, and cousin who are all dentists. With their encouragement, she began dental school at the University of Mississippi and graduated in 2004. While in dental school Dr. House grew to love working in the pediatric clinic. She went on to specialize in pediatric dentistry at Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine in Boston, MA where she completed her residency in 2006. Dr House moved to Nashville after residency where she worked in a large group practice before founding Cumberland with her partners in 2012.
During her time in Boston, Dr. House received advanced training in the clinical management and psychology of children, child development, and care for patients with special needs. In addition, Dr. House was trained in conscious sedation and general anesthesia. Professional memberships include the American Dental Association, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Southeastern Society of Pediatric Dentistry, Tennessee Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Tennessee Dental Association and the Nashville Dental Society. In her spare time, Dr. House enjoys traveling, riding her bike, and cheering for the Red Sox, Predators and Titans.
