Paying for Invisalign®

The cost of Invisalign differs according to the unique adjustments your teeth need. However, Invisalign is typically cost effective versus the price of traditional braces.

Orthodontic work can be expensive. Like the cost of braces, an investment in Invisalign® aligners offers the benefits of improved oral health and an attractive smile. If you feel that Invisalign® is the right choice for you, but are concerned about the cost, we can help you figure out how to accomplish your oral health goals.

Options for Paying for
Invisalign® Treatment

Monthly Payment Plans

We offer financing options to make Invisalign® affordable for you and your family. A monthly payment plan can spread the cost of your Invisalign® clear aligners over the length of treatment. After an initial down payment, you would make small payments to complete the cost instead of having to pay all at once. Call Cumberland Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics today to discuss your financing options.

Monthly Payment Plans

Insurance Coverage

Some dental insurance plans cover the cost of Invisalign® aligners just as they cover the cost of braces. Some plans cover a percentage of the treatment or up to a certain dollar amount. This may be affected by a lifetime cap on orthodontic treatment. You must check both your health and dental insurance coverages.

Discuss your coverage with your employer’s benefits manager, call your insurance plan directly, or find your orthodontic coverage details in your benefits package. Plans vary, and orthodontic coverage could be covered by health insurance or by a separate orthodontic coverage.

We accept many recognized private insurance plans and work with you to help you understand the coverage they provide. Contact Cumberland Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics today to discuss your options and find out the insurance plans we accept.

HSA/FSA Tax-Free
Savings Accounts

If your dental insurance does not cover orthodontic work, your Flexible Savings Account (FSA) or Health Savings Account could be used to pay for dental treatments, including Invisalign® clear aligners.

While some banks offer HSA accounts that you can open, FSA and HSA accounts can be managed through your employer and deducted from your paycheck. Funds earned by you are stored in the account throughout the year. These funds can be used to cover out-of-pocket medical expenses like copays and deductibles. Unlike an FSA, your HSA funds roll-over each year.

Find out more by reaching out to us at Cumberland Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics or by speaking with your plan administrator with your employer. Together we will determine if you will be reimbursed by your FSA/HSA or if the benefit provider will pay our office directly.
