As Pediatric and Orthodontic specialists, we know that we need to bring together technologies that protect your child’s health, comforts that help him or her receive anxiety-free dental care, and amenities that make trips to the dentist fun! We also know that the care we provide will set the stage for your child’s dental care well into adulthood – most people who have a fear of the dentist had bad experiences in childhood, and one of our main goals is to make sure your child only has great experiences at Cumberland Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics. And we haven’t forgotten the fun! We offer video games in the waiting room, free wifi, and TVs in every operatory, helping keep your child entertained and distracted during dental visits.
You’ll find our office at the intersection of Rock Springs Rd and Cedar Grove Rd, less than a mile from Sam Ridley Pkwy W and I24.
We love investing in our community and doing school outreach! Some of the surrounding schools our team visits within the Rutherford County School District are Rock Springs Elementary and Middle Schools, Smyrna Elementary, Stewartsboro Elementary School, Smyrna Primary School, and many more!
Our team at Cumberland Pediatric Dentistry & Orthodontics of Smyrna serves the communities of Rutherford County including Smyrna, LaVergne, Walterhill, and Eagleville.
Although born and raised in Texas, Dr. Diana’s love for adventure lead her and her husband to the beautiful Island of Hawai’i after completing her dental training. Prior to practicing in Hawai’i, Dr. Diana was formally trained at Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, Texas. After dental school, she pursued her specialty pediatric residency training at the prestigious Yale School of Medicine and Yale-New Haven Hospital in New Haven, Connecticut. After enduring the rough northeast winters, she booked a one-way ticket to paradise and practiced for several years in the underserved areas of Big Island until she and her husband decided on settling down in the beautifully vibrant city of Nashville.
Dr. Diana strives to create a warm and welcoming environment for children and to make their dental visits as enjoyable as possible. Her goal as a dentist is to guide children and families on the journey to healthy smiles and healthy lifestyles. She finds it vital to create a foundation based on trust and open communication in order to arrive to a common goal for each individual patient.
When not in the office, Dr. Diana loves to surf and write/play music. Since there’s not much of a surf scene in Tennessee, she finds her active fix through CrossFit with her husband.
Dr. Diana is a Board Certified Diplomat of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and a member of the American Association of Pediatric Dentistry.

Following graduation, Dr Luther completed her pediatric Dental Residency at the University of Buffalo, where she was highly involved in many of their unique outreach programs such as Clean Sweep Buffalo and Smile Education Day.
