Dr. Mirissa Price
Dr. Price is originally from Tucson, Arizona. She received a Bachelor of Science in Biology with minors in Chemistry and Leadership Studies at the University of Colorado Denver. She also founded a nonprofit, Crafting Yourself, which offered after school programming to middle school students with a focus on using creativity to build self-efficacy and resiliency in youth. She went to dental school at Harvard School of Dental Medicine, where she served as a Scholar of Dental Education and a national Give Kids A Smile Ambassador. She remained in Boston for her pediatric dental training at Boston Children’s Hospital.
She spends much of her time playing with her two-year-old morkie (maltese-yorkie) Joey, hiking, swimming, throwing pottery, performing improv comedy, eating a well-made vegetarian sandwich, and maintaining an active lifestyle at the local boxing and CrossFit gyms.
Dr. Price’s favorite aspect of pediatric dentistry is not only working with the families, but going on great storytelling adventures with her patients. She loves Nashville and all the friendliness, beauty, and family-focus of the city, so much so that she is happy to now consider Nashville home.
