As Pediatric and Orthodontic specialists, we know that we need to bring together technologies that protect your child’s health, comforts that help him or her receive anxiety-free dental care, and amenities that make trips to the dentist fun! We also know that the care we provide will set the stage for your child’s dental care well into adulthood – most people who have a fear of the dentist had bad experiences in childhood, and one of our main goals is to make sure your child only has great experiences at Cumberland Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics. And we haven’t forgotten the fun! We offer video games in the waiting room, free wifi, and TVs in every operatory, helping keep your child entertained and distracted during dental visits.
You’ll find our office located on TN-76 in the Highland Square shopping center next to Kroger and behind Bojangle’s.

Dr. DeAndra Jones is an Arkansas native, which is where she discovered her desire to help people at an early age. Dentistry became a strong interest for her during the early years of high school. This interest solidified into a life goal after working as a pre-school instructor the summer after her high school graduation. Since then, Dr. DeAndra has dedicated her life to acquiring dental access in rural communities such as her hometown.
Dr. Jones went on to graduate Cum Laude from Spelman College in Atlanta, Georgia, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology in the spring of 2015 and entered Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts, the following fall. Dr. DeAndra graduated from Tufts in May of 2019 and went on to receive her Advanced Education in Pediatric Dentistry certificate in the summer of 2021 from NYU Langone Dental Medicine Postdoctoral Residency Program at the Springfield, Missouri, training site.
Dr. DeAndra Jones has a passion for helping others achieve their life goals and overcome challenges. One way she fulfilled this passion is by creating a nonprofit organization called Growth Garden which aims to expose minority high school youth to careers in the STEM field. Dr. Jones has two gorgeous cats named Oliver and Kovu. She enjoys baking, traveling, and gardening. Dr. DeAndra looks forward to treating your child with love and fun!

Dr. Melvin is originally from Atlanta, but she is very excited to call Nashville her new home! In her free time she enjoys trying new restaurants, spending time with friends and family, working out, reading, traveling, and rooting on the Georgia Bulldogs!
